When it comes to brands identities, it is important to keep it consistent across various campaigns, creators, and platforms. During my time at Orange Slice Marketing, developing internal brand boards helped our marketing team to ensure that every campaign looked cohesive.

Here is a step by step guide to creating an effective brand board

  1. Logo- Your brand board begins with the visual anchor of the brand

    -Primary logo

    -Secondary logo

    -Icon or mark

    -Black, white, and inverted versions

  2. Color Palette- Choose colors that reflect the brand's personality and work well across all platforms

    -Primary colors (main brand colors)

    -Secondary colors (supporting colors)

  3. Typography-Fonts help to shape a brand's tone

-Header font

-Subheader font

-Body text font

  1. Imagery and Content Style-This sections guides graphics, photography, and general visual mood

    -Preferred image style

    -Inspiration or sample photos

    -Graphic elements or textures

    -Editing style

Creating brand boards at Orange Slice Marketing showed me just how effective they are in improving the entire marketing process. They help keep campaigns visually consistent, speed up content creation, and align clients. Brand boards also strengthen brand recognition and lead to higher quality deliverables. Overall, they help focus in the brands identity.
